About Us

Dead Horse Productions, LLC began in 2006 and is a full-service, minority and veteran owned, video production company, that creates content for all mediums using talented base of creative artists, who take an idea from conception to final product.

We offer a wide range of filming services. To our credit, we have produced television shows and pilots, commercials for large and small businesses, training videos for national companies, documentaries, short films, music videos, and custom projects. You will see us capturing graduation footage, dance recitals, and special events throughout the southeast.

When you need a special life event filmed such as a wedding, baptism, family history documentation or memorial service, our sister company AV Films steps up. Moments are captured unobtrusively, with dignity and respect.

Other services offered at Dead Horse Productions include post-production editing, color correcting, and video mastering in our editing suite. We can duplicate your finished product and package it for distribution. And we can transfer those family memories from VHS, High 8, MiniDV tapes, or Mini DVDs onto DVDs, making them safe and easy to view.

Vic Aviles

Vic Aviles

Co-Owner/Creative Director

Vic is the Co-Owner and Creative Director of Dead Horse Productions, LLC, as well as a Major in the U.S. Army with 26-years of service. A graduate of the New York Film Academy's film program, he is a Screen Actors Guild qualified actor, and enjoys all aspects of the performing arts; you'll often see Vic's name in the community theatre realm as both an actor and a director. As a Public Affairs Commander with the Army, he knows the importance of telling a story the way it needs to be told. He enjoys being tasked with helping others find their voice in the visual medium and loves the creative process as it's coaxed to maturity.
Linda Lavold

Linda Lavold

Executive Director

Linda is the Executive Director of Dead Horse Productions, LLC, and handles the business aspects of the company. She composes most of the scripts for promotional projects and oversees the video transfer and duplication projects. Juggling is a way of life for her, as she has been the office manager for The Clemson Little Theatre for 10+ years. She and her husband, Dennis have four children, twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandson.

Brittney has eleven years of experience in the graphic design industry and is in charge of the design and web aspects of Dead Horse Productions, as well as completing digital transfers for our customers. When she's not working hard in the studio, she can be found spending time with her husband and their two young girls.
Tiffany Hatcher

Tiffany Hatcher

Videographer/Video Editor

    Tiffany has been involved in production since 2008. She has gained a passion for the craft through her volunteer camera operator role at NewSpring Church where she eventually gained the title of production coordinator. Tiffany's passion for production eventually landed her at Dead Horse Productions where she is responsible for taking various videos for our clients. Her infectious personality make her an easy professional to work with regardless of what project is given to her.
    Montel J. Allen

    Montel J. Allen

    Videographer/Video Editor

      Montel is a hard worker that takes his craft very seriously. He's also a worker that gets through tough, hard days with silliness and laughter. His passion for filming goes all the way back to the 5th grade when he worked in front and behind the scenes filming the Morning News Show for Calhoun Academy of the Arts. He has plans to write, direct, and produce his own films. He even plans to open his own movie studio that will be bigger than Universal and Warner Brothers studios combined. Montel loves being busy and he's a bit of a perfectionist. Whatever vision a client imagines for their project, whether it's for the big screen or the small screen, Montel does everything in his power to make sure his film footage matches that vision.

        Tyler is a film editor at Dead Horse Productions. He is a 2016 graduate of T.L. Hanna High School where he studied Image Editing and Animation. Tyler also has a deep passion for acting and singing and has been in many school plays and choral performances. He has plans to become an actor later in life and maybe star in his own movie. He loves his editing job and making DHP customers happy!

        Videographer/Principle Drone Video Operator

          Craig is a freelance drone operator from Seneca, SC. He credits his precision skill of the drone controls to years of playing video games! Craig’s footage is smooth and easy to watch; whether it’s the great outdoors, or the interior of locations, he captures amazing video for Dead Horse Productions.
